Hoorn World

Hoorn World is a video test in order to specify the video recording quality of the iPhone 4. Several DIY tools were made to stabilize the image of the telephone, using a universal mount to switch between tripods.

This movie was edited with the Vimeo app. This means no color corrections, no audio corrections - the footage was trimmed, audio was placed and a fade in & fade out were edited in.

While being a tesing video, Hoorn World will also give you a look at the better part of Hoorn on a weekend.

Overspel

Overspel’ (Adultery) is an interactive short film about a man who finds himself in more relationship trouble than he bargained himself for. Suddenly a way out appears, but Adultery may not seem what it looks like..

The project is part of a course at the University of Applied Sciences Amsterdam. I am responsible for filming, editing, audio and post-production. The original film was presented in a flash-based application. For sharing purposes, the film has been converted to a YouTube interactive film afterward. The film language is Dutch due to the nationality of the university.

An Unexpected Moment

‘Een Onverwacht Moment’ is a short film shot as part of a college project. Goal of the video was to present a realistic prototype of a product that could potentially present itself in the near future.

Daphne, a student studying at the school of Photography in Amsterdam, has always wanted to capture the impossible - in the form of unexpected moments that she comes across. During a day of shopping Daphne left her regular camera at home, but it is during this day out she encounters a lot of unexpected moments. Thanks to her prototype, she is still able to capture those moments with relative ease. Near the end of her day out Daphne’s passion for photography gets her stuck in a sticky situation. Will she be able to save this unexpected moment?

HD is a must.

Stills From Canned Film

I went out to shoot a short film today. Experienced some difficulties during the recording not taken into account - effectively leading to the fact I had to shoot this film by hand. For lack of better words, the quality of the material was not on par with what I was shooting for. Therefor I chose to can the material and shelf the idea. Perhaps this film will surface at a later time.

Here is an exclusive look at some of the shots taken from the canned footage.
